2020 Factory Direct Slalom Ski Trial Program

D3’s Factory Direct Slalom Ski Trial Program provides skiers the opportunity to try the D3 EVO, EVO S and NRG R1 slalom skis before purchasing. EVO AXIS slalom ski is not available on this program.

· We will pre-authorize charges (hold funds) on your credit card in the amount of $600 per ski plus a $70 charge freight as a deposit.

· Try up to two (2) of our slalom skis in a single shipment. Bindings are not included in this trial program as we feel skis are best tested with a skier’s current bindings.

  • The trial program is for customers in the continental United States only.
  • Customers are responsible for the shipping charges to their location and return back to the factory for a flat rate of $70. Express shipping is available for your outbound trial for an additional charge. Please contact Customer Service at the phone number below for express shipping details.
  • D3 will provide a return shipping label with the shipment. The shipment will be sent out signature required; customer must sign for the delivery.
  • Upon arrival, inspect your trial ski(s) carefully for any possible shipping damage. If damage is discovered contact Customer Service immediately. Please include pictures of the damage to the ski and the box.
  • Please take care when unpacking the ski(s) as the plastic bag and other packing materials need to be re-used for the return packaging of the ski(s).


You will have three (3) weeks after receipt of the trial ski(s) to contact D3 Customer Service to complete the purchase or return of the trial ski(s).

If you choose to purchase a trial program ski:

· We will invoice the ski you wish to purchase. Ground freight and the ski sleeve shipped with the ski will be yours at N/C.

· You will need to return any other trial ski with the return label provided by D3.

If you choose to return the trial ski(s):

· Re-package the ski(s) similar to how they were received using the original packing materials and ski sleeve to prevent damage. Please make sure that all the parts are put back in the box. See packaging instructions for assistance.

· Attach the return shipping label to the box covering the original shipping label and drop the package off at the nearest staffed FedEx location.

· Upon receipt of returned skis, your credit card will be billed $70 for freight.

· Missing items and/or damage due to improper packaging of trial ski(s) will be charged to the customer.

If you choose to return the trial ski(s) and purchase a NEW ski:

· Contact D3 Customer Service to purchase new ski

· Return trial ski(s) as noted above

· Your credit card will be billed upon shipment of new ski with FREE ground freight.

· Missing items and/or damage due to improper packaging of trial ski(s) will be charged to the customer.
