the Warranty
I
broke my ski/binding/fin. What do I do?
This
rarely happens but when it does, we have a one-year warranty
policy. As outlined below, if your product fails, return your
product to your dealer or directly to D3 Custom Skis.
D3
Custom Skis LIMITED WARRANTY
D3 Custom Skis products (including skis, bindings and fins)
are warranted by D3 Custom Skis to be free of defects in workmanship
and materials for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase.
If a product proves to be otherwise, D3 Custom Skis, in its
sole discretion, will repair or replace the defective product
at D3 Custom Skis expense. D3 Custom Skis will not be responsible
for any costs associated with the loss of use of any product.
This
limited warranty is subject to the following limitations:
The warranty applies only to D3 Custom Skis products purchased
from our web site or an Authorized D3 Custom Skis Dealer and
is extended only to the original purchaser ("Owner").
All
products to be returned to D3 Custom Skis must be returned before
the expiration of the warranty period and must be accompanied
by the dated proof of purchase.
All
products are to be shipped prepaid and insured. D3 Custom Skis
assumes no responsibility for products during shipment from
the Owner to a D3 Custom Skis Service Center. Shipping charges
are not refundable.
Repaired
or replaced product will be returned in a reasonable amount
of time. D3 Custom Skis will pay return shipping costs.
This
limited warranty does not apply to:
a. Normal wear and tear. Impact related damage, such as but
not limited to docks, handle impacts, magnet impacts, or heel
dents (trick skis) is NOT covered under this warranty.
b.
Damage resulting from abuse, misuse or carelessness.
c.
Damage resulting from faulty or improper mounting of bindings.
This includes stripping inserts from incorrect mounting.
d.
Any damage caused from anything other than defects in material
or workmanship.
e.
Damage caused by the use of non-D3 Custom Skis hardware while
mounting bindings.
f.
Damage from the use of solvents, adhesives, or other substances
not specifically determined for use on water sports products.
COVERAGE
Coverage under this limited warranty is void if any modifications
or alterations have been made to a D3 Custom Skis product not
specifically authorized in writing by D3 Custom Skis.
Repair
or replaced products are covered only for the remainder of the
original warranty.
D3
Custom Skis products are not covered by any verbal warranties.
ALL
WARRANTIES IMPLIED BY STATE LAW, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES
OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE
HEREBY.
