After 18 grueling months of research and development Denny Kidder and his R&D team bring you the lightest, fastest ski we have ever produced. Crafted in the same shape as the World Champion Custom X, the new X5 delivers a whole new level of performance. The X5 is produced with new E-CORE technology. This “ E” core significantly reduces the weight of the ski, improving the carbon- fibers ability to rebound from a load situation. This creates a faster ski out of the turns as well as across the course. In high school physics we learned a lighter weight mass will accelerate faster and decelerate quicker than a heavier mass. The lighter weight ski moves away from you easier and comes back faster between you and the boat. . With increased torsional flex the X5 has the ability to handle incredible angle through the wakes with less skier effort. This new ski is FAST!!

Each 2004 Custom X and X5 is cataloged and documented at our manufacturing facility. We check each ski in four different zones for longitudinal flex and rocker. Torsional flex is also documented. Each ski has a born on date and a serial number for absolute identification.
